About this project

IBM were, in conjunction with Landlords, funding the modernisation of their existing offices and data IBM centres across Australia and New Zealand. IBM undertook these works as part of a larger operation to condense their property portfolio and improve staff working conditions. The 3,000m2 fit out across two floors of existing office space in Auckland comprised the modernisation of the Building Services Infrastructure and significant internal alterations and refurbishment. It goes without saying that the integration of cutting edge technology was a 'must' to the design.

Our role

We were appointed during the ‘Post Contract’ phase to provide ‘Cost Management’ for tenant fit out works for the new IBM’s headquarter in Auckland CBD designed by SD+A. The project was administered and delivered under a single contract within a 10-month execution programme. Our involvement encompassed direct and indirect management of enabling works, demolition, construction, furniture, equipment, security installations, external works, landscaping and general attendances. The services we procured included, but were not limited to, the following:
