The project aims to be part of a distinctive urban fabric and to offer an alternative that enhances the existing ensemble. The highlights of the town centre are the town hall and the church, the park and the urban complex that connects them. This set was analysed so as to bring out its potential. Seyler & Lucan isolated the mansion to the East in order to restore its unique character. Following the natural lines of the surrounding urban landscape, the site allows to enlarge the public space, to create a connection between the street and the park as well as a square in front of the new building – all of which enriches the existing urban space.
