About this project

Just a stone’s throw from Casino Square, Bagatelle brings Lambart & Brown’s glamour to the glamour of Monte Carlo. The signature Bagatelle blue meets copper to create a light-hearted yet glittering atmosphere enhancing the stylish furniture. The main dining area reminds of a traditional glasshouse surrounded by luscious green plant life and large windows. Inside, atmospheres are created by using various type of wall panelling, cornices and light fittings. A calming yet indulgent oasis in the heart of Monte Carlo. In 2017, Bagatelle was awarded ‘Best Restaurant Design’ at the iDogi International Awards.

Our role

We were appointed during the ‘Pre and Post Contract’ phase to provide ‘Cost Management’ for tenant high-end fit out works of ‘Bagatelle | Monte Carlo’ exclusive restaurant designed by ARCH’ Monaco | Lambart & Browne. The project was administered and delivered under a multiple contract within a 14-month execution programme. Our involvement encompassed direct and indirect management of enabling works, construction, furniture, equipment, security installations, external works and general attendances. The services we procured included, but were not limited to, the following:

Cost Management

Feasibility studies, benchmarking, financial advice and budget preparation
Preparation of estimates, cost planning and cash flow forecasting
Evaluation, clarification, negotiation, realignment of tenders and finalising contracts
Change control and change management
Cost expenditure management and payment control
Cost monitoring and reporting
