L\u2019expression des diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles urbaines et architecturales permet d\u2019inscrire l\u2019h\u00f4pital de plain-pied dans la ville, de le faire pleinement participer \u00e0 la vie de la cit\u00e9, de briser son &#8216;enfermement&#8217; . Une fa\u00e7ade &#8216;vivante&#8217; se d\u00e9ploie sur le pourtour du b\u00e2timent, son architecture &#8211; imbrication de briques et de m\u00e9tal &#8211; fait \u00e9cho aux textures des \u00e9difices existants sur le site (1910 et 1970\/80).
